Family law, estate planning, drafting wills and trusts, business corporations and LLC organizations, bankruptcies, real estate transactions and probate administration are the primary areas of legal representation in which Attorney Maureen Higham presently concentrates.  She has more than 20 years of experience in the legal field.

Prior to attending law school, Attorney Higham worked at this law for more than 18 years as a paralegal and law office manager.  She also previously ran a real estate title company and has had significant experience in most legal areas while calling upon other law firm team members where needed.

With a growing family, Attorney Higham attended the University of New Hampshire obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology.  Following her second child, she obtained her Juris Doctorate Degree from the Massachusetts School of Law and was admitted to practice in both New Hampshire and Massachusetts.

Attorney Maureen Higham is presently a member of, the New Hampshire and Massachusetts Bar Associations, and the Massachusetts and New Hampshire Women’s Bar Association, American Bar Association and New Hampshire Association for Justice.  She is proficient in American Sign Language.

An accomplished equestrian, Maureen no longer owns horses, but is the caretaker of numerous pets.

Along with her husband, Lee, Maureen enjoys Harley-Davison motorcycles and spending time with her children at the seashore.  She resides in southern New Hampshire with her spouse and two children.
